The Card Ledger (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name.
Card Images: Photos you take of trading cards are stored securely in our cloud storage to enable card analysis and your collection library.
Card Data: Information extracted from your card images (player names, years, brands, etc.) is stored to power your collection.
Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics to improve the app experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide AI-powered card identification and analysis
- To maintain your card collection library
- To provide estimated market valuations
- To improve our services
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). Images are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.
4. Third-Party Services
- Anthropic (Claude AI): Card images are sent to Anthropic’s API for analysis. Images are not retained by Anthropic after processing.
- Supabase: Database and authentication provider.
5. Your Rights
You can:
- View all your stored data through the app
- Delete individual cards or your entire collection
- Delete your account directly from the Profile settings screen
- Export your collection data
6. Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. Card images and data are deleted when you remove cards from your collection or delete your account.
7. Children’s Privacy
This app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
